I absolutely LOVE being a part of NAK Martial Arts Center family. I started at the end of May 2025. My friend had been coming here for a long time and she encouraged me to come try the kickboxing class for a free trial week. I wanted a workout, but I was a little timid to come to the class since I didnt have any martial arts experience and was out of shape. I'm so thankful that I didn't let that stop me. Everyone at NAK greets each other with fist bumps and I immediately felt like I belonged. Professor Sal, Professor Louis and Andrea are super helpful, friendly and definitely care about people. I didn't and still don't feel any judgement from any of the instructors or its members. It feels absolutely amazing to be part of this team.

I have seen SO much growth in myself in the last 3 months. It's an overall full body workout that you can modify and take at your own pace. (We have people 77 years young and others with knee and hip
I cannot say enough wonderful things about the kids' MMA classes here. Since joining, I’ve seen an incredible transformation in my children. The instructors do a phenomenal job of balancing structure with genuine encouragement. They don't just teach martial arts techniques; they instill real-life values like respect, focus, and discipline. The environment is incredibly positive, and the coaches know exactly how to motivate the kids to push themselves while keeping it fun. If you're looking for a place that builds both physical skills and strong character, this is it! My kids leave the mats feeling confident, strong, and excited to come back. Truly top-tier coaching!
We all have coaches in our life of one sort or another but none ever that can compare and truly help your character and values in the way that martial arts can and does. Professor Sal and his family of instructors have been a part of our life for 6 yrs now and has not only made a difference in my life as an adult but in my 10 yr old son's as well. Respect, Self Control, Honesty, Courage, Loyalty, and Integrity is what we all want for ourself and our children and everything they teach here. No other sport will do what this will do for your children. Thank you NAK family for all that you do!
I cannot say enough positive things about NAK Martial Arts & GM's Sal & Louis Banuelos! They truly care about being and growing good people above all. I've been a student at NAK since 2013 & an instructor since 2019. I've seen so many youths & adults grow stronger, more capable & more confident in themselves through training here and I'll always be an advocate! My grandchildren have all trained at NAK & the lessons regarding respect, honor, confidence & integrity reach far beyond NAK! I strongly encourage everyone to see what NAK has for you & your family!
I did a lot of research prior to my children doing martial arts. Kajukenbo is by far the best martial art for real life and personal development. From the very first interaction, we were welcomed like family and not pushed into anything, not like other dujos we had visited. I’ve watched my kids grow and learn all the essential black belt values that even followed them out of the dujo. GM’s Sal and Louis have been not only positive mentors but the leadership influence that made my boys international champions. I cannot say enough about NAK and will always be thankful for what they have given our family…another home.
We've attended classes here for the past 4 years and love it! The reasons go beyond the self defense skills - they've instilled confidence in my kids and taught them the fundamentals of respect: eye contact, listening, and treating others the way you want to be treated. The instructors look out for you and treat you like family. If you're looking for a great dojo, look no further bc this one's the best!
