We enrolled our daughter here about a year ago and so glad we did. She looks forward to going all the time and she goes about 2-3 times a week. This is how much she loves the classes and all the instructors. I've put her in other activities in the past and she has not ever shown this much enthusiasm about extra curriculars. It's amazing to watch her learn and grow through taking karate and muy thai at Gilbert Defense Arts. I truly believe that she is confident, focused and more disciplined because of them. All of the parents, students and instructions are just wonderful people, too. They are just so warm, welcoming and easygoing. I can remember doing my research in the beginning and calling multiple martial arts studios in Gilbert. I spoke to Casey in the beginning. He was and still is so friendly and responsive. I was able to get pricing and schedule a first complementary class at the first phone call. It was so refreshing after contac

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I had an incredible experience at Gilbert Defense Arts, and I can't recommend this studio enough! The standout feature of this place is Sensei Casey and his unwavering dedication to his students. One of the most powerful quotes in his office reads, "I will teach this class as if it is the most important thing I do," and that is exactly how he approaches every single lesson. He is committed to bringing out the best in each student, always ensuring that everyone, regardless of skill level, is challenged and supported.

The instructors here are not only incredibly knowledgeable but also deeply patient, always ready to offer individualized attention and guidance. Sensei Casey, in particular, makes it his mission to build confidence and real-world self-defense skills in all of his students. The classes are well-structured, with a great balance of technique, drills, and practical application, ensuring that no one ever
Gilbert Defense Arts has been one of the best decisions I’ve made, from the moment you walk in, the vibe is welcoming and inclusive, whether you’re a complete beginner or already have some experience. The classes are challenging but supportive, and the instructors take time to help you learn proper form and techniques, especially in kickboxing and self-defense. I feel stronger, more confident, and safer since starting here, both physically and mentally. The school works great for adults and kids alike, with a good balance of discipline, fitness, and real-world martial-arts training. If you’re in Gilbert and looking for a place to learn martial arts or self-defense, I strongly recommend giving Gilbert Defense Arts a try.
We have been with Gilbert Defense Arts for years now and have loved every moment of it. The teachers are fantastic and relate wonderfully with the kids. They make the classes challenging and fun. We have seen such growth in our children both in their advancement through their belts, and also in their development as respectful, hard working individuals.
The dojo has also worked very diligently throughout the challenging pandemic times to keep kids involved even when they cannot be in studio. I know in particular my family has appreciated having online options.
We love Gilbert Defense Arts and all of the instructors and look forward to many more years of time with them!
We have very much enjoyed our experience at this dojo. Casey is very personable and seems to care about his students. We are guilty of being kind of inconsistent in our attendance and Casey takes it all in stride. Some dojos are all about competition and it's not that there isn't competition going on at this one but, their focus is what you want it to be. So when I brought my teen aged daughter in and told Casey she had a stalker at school he never mentioned belt colors or competition. He simply set her up with an instructor that solely focused on making sure she stays safe. I definitely recommend Gilbert Defense Arts to anyone who is looking for a place that will truly teach you how to defend yourself.
