I’ve trained with Breck for around 3 years now and my daughter has also been training for about 10 months now. I can’t say enough good things about Breck and how he runs his gyms. Breck is EXTREMELY knowledgeable about jiu jitsu and he is an incredible instructor. Always friendly to anyone that walks in those doors and makes sure everyone in the gym has a safe place to learn jiu jitsu.
Leviathan is an amazing gym. Breck coaches with passion, patience, and the student needs first. Our daughter has some special needs and we were worried about finding a gym that could handle her massive personality and this has been an amazing fit. Im amazed how much she has progressed in her JJ game. Breck does not ignore her and works with were she is at, without letting it overshadow other students, its been a great mix of compassion and showing respect that she needs and is thriving. As far as the adult class goes, both Breck and Coach Steven's depth of knowledge is apparent, with a true eagerness to teach others in a safe, collaborative environment. I recommend to anyone no matter where they are at with their fitness to give it a try. :)
Our son has trained at Leviathan for over 5 years, and we have been so grateful for the investment the coaches have made in him. Breck and his coaching staff are teaching respect, discipline, and responsibility in addition to jiujitsu skills. They are all so encouraging and patient, yet push the students to grow continuously. We are excited for more opportunities to train with his new location!
Choosing to train with Leviathan was a wonderful choice. A positive environment with friendly people and they want you to succeed. Great team environment! My kids and I all train!
Great gym, great coaches. Great tournament prep/competition philosophy for serious students, while still being accessible and patient with beginners. I highly recommend this gym.
I'd seen Breck's content on YouTube and finally got the chance to train with him, and he didn't disappoint. Great technical knowledge, very good at explaining, and just a fun roll. Amazing to have such an instructor in Chattanooga.
