TCS is the gym I've called home for several years now. I've visited others, and while there are other great gyms in town the atmosphere and culture of TCS just can't be beat. It's the perfect balance of a chill, friendly environment while also encouraging you to always be pushing your limits and always be improving. There's a great team of instructors who each have their own style of BJJ and style of teaching, so you get a variety of perspectives on techniques. The spring-floor mats of the current location are fantastic for training takedowns without punishing your body too much. Safety is paramount and the coaching staff are always working to pair people up for sparring in ways that will challenge them, but also make sure that everyone stays safe. Hygiene is always stressed. The mats are cleaned after classes every time and I've not known anyone who picked up an infection from this gym. Overall a fantastic gym with a great community an
My husband and I have been training with this team for over eight years! Tulsa Combat sports has a mindset around jiujitsu that maintains etiquette, safety, technique and overall health! The coaches gives great technique with a focused curriculum that isn't just for the sport of jiujitsu, but for self defense. As a female, I always feel safe, but encouraged and pushed! My 4 year old also just started and loves it!!! I enjoy cross training, but definitely consider Tulsa Combat sports our home.
I have been training at TCS for a little over a year, and my life has improved. This school has safe training partners and great technique, not to mention an awesome coach and gym community. If you want to learn self-defense or climb the ranks all the way to black belt, this is the school for you.
Super technical school with amazing instructors and students. Very welcoming. As a woman, I always feel safe training here. Everyone is like a family.
I absolutely love this place! I have trained at another dojo and it doesn’t hold a candle to TCS. The instructors care about their students. Everyone is super friendly and just good folk.
I've enjoyed training her for 2.5 years. Thomas, Therman, Chris (for Judo) and the other black belts offer incredible instruction. The facility is always clean. Awesome community!
