My family trains here from my 4 year old sister ,my Dad and myself and my sister.Redline has brought us new levels of fitness and confidence to deal with everything in our lives. Jiujitsu is not just a martial art it is a lifestyle of fitness, self respect and discipline as well as healthy eating habits promoted by the Gracie family diet. The facilities and instruction are first class and its a great environment to foster new friendships in a family friendly school.Classes are expanding form the Jiujitsu curriculum to include yoga ,boxing and other fitness activities...i highly recommend Redline to all my friends and family.
If you want to learn high level Jiu-Jitsu from people that treat you like family, train at Redline. The first thing you will notice is how clean the place is! They have created a clean, welcoming environment for anyone and everyone. For the past year and half I’ve been commuting from Norman to train there. I pass by several other schools that are much closer to home (one school is literally in walking distance) just to train with the best people. At any one time you can have a 61 year old drilling the blue belt test or two high level guys preparing for a tournament. When they say anyone can do Jiu-Jitsu, they are referring to academies like Redline that foster that belief.
I recently traveled through the area and dropped in for a few days at Redline Jiu Jitsu. Having been to a lot of Jiu jitsu schools around the US, Ty’s instruction is outstanding—his attention to detail and ability to break down technique is world-class. The entire team of instructors is top-notch and the environment is incredibly welcoming to visitors and regulars alike. It’s clear everyone here has a true passion for jiu jitsu and for helping others improve. The facilities are very clean and well-maintained. If I lived in the area, this would absolutely be my gym of choice.
After being diagnosed with heart disease at 48 years, old i was faced with making some lifestyle changes. After i had my stent procedures, I first tackled my diet with great success, however exercise was not coming as easy for me, especially just for the sake of it. So i decided to try something new that I've had a great interest in for years, i needed inspiration to exercise and boy did I get it. I'm a somewhat introverted person and frankly i was quite apprehensive of trying jiu jitsu at my age and condition. Luck has it Redline was the first school that popped up in my search. In the few months I've been a part of this school, all of my fears are gone and I couldn't be happier. While the facilities are fantastic, it's the instructors and students that won me over. Everyone has been so patient, caring, respectful and helpful to me that its really changed my perspective on people in general. That and my new found love for jiu jitsu has
That last "review" from Eric Benton is complete BS. Redline Jiu-Jitsu is a GREAT place with GREAT people. I live in CA, but when I'm in Oklahoma, I train at Redline. Very friendly, welcoming environment. If I lived there my family and I would be members of Redline. Ty and his instructors are superb. Great for kids and adults of all levels. Go check them out and see for yourself. you won't be disappointed.
Redline was the place I finally learned some jiu-jitsu. I had been too nervous for years to go to any class. I met one of the instructors, Jennifer, through yoga and decided to finally show up. I'm glad I did. They offer a free trial so you don't have to decide right away. Instructors and fellow students are welcoming and helpful. Their white belt curriculum is fantastic, especially if you're like me and need some structure when you start to learn a new skill. They all teach very well. It's great for any level and age!
