Renzo Gracie JiuJisu Academy is an amazing place to learn and practice BJJ. Marcus is highly skilled and patient jiu jitsu instructor for adults and kids. My husband has being training here for about 10 years and our kids started classes at age of 5. We train here at least 3 times a week and we love coming together for open mat on Saturdays. The kids classes are amazing because the children have lots of fun learning the tecniques, so they always look forward to the next class. Last but not least, the Women Self Defense Classes on Saturdays are absolutaly amazing. If you're thinking about trying out Brazilian jiu jitsu, this is right the place. I highly reccomend Renzo Gracie Jiu Jitsu Academy.
I cannot speak highly enough about my experience here. Professor Marcus Nesse is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about jiu jitsu. He provides clear, step-by-step instructions and ensures that every student, regardless of skill level, feels supported and challenged. Students are friendly and always willing to help each other improve. The school promotes a positive and inclusive environment, making it a great place for beginners and advanced practitioners alike. The facilities are clean, and well-maintained, providing a safe and comfortable space for training. The class schedule is flexible, offering a variety of times and classes to fit anyone’s busy schedule. 10 out of 10 would recommend.
My 11- and 14-year-old kids trained at Renzo Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Academy of Boca Raton and had an outstanding experience. The academy has a great atmosphere, very attentive instructors, and a safe environment for kids to learn and grow. The owner is extremely involved and present every day — something rare and truly impactful. He follows the students closely, motivates them, and creates a positive environment that my kids absolutely loved. I highly recommend this academy to any family looking for a serious, welcoming place with top-level instruction.

I’ve competed multiple times since joining, and every roll, every tough round, has helped me level up physically and mentally. This place has helped shape the competitor and person I’m becoming. If you’re serious about Jiu-Jitsu and want to train in a place with real lineage, world class instruction, and a team that pushes you to be your best Renzo Gracie Boca is it. I’m proud to call this place home.
All around excellent atmosphere. The instructor team is super helpful and knowledgeable. They have a programs for both kids and adults taught by instructors that truly care. The best attribute is how clean the whole school is. Definitely the correct choice for Brazilian Jiu jitsu in Boca Raton.
Marcus Nesse is a legend. Marcus teaches modern jiu jitsu with an old school mentality. Awesome medium sized location in the heart of Boca Raton that is super well kept. It's very rare to come across an open door policy that actually believes in the mentality. Mat fee is totally fair and the students were super welcoming. If you are in the area do yourself a favor and drop in ! As a competitor this gym was like a home away from home.
