I’ve trained at this gym off and on for over 2 years, and couldn’t be happier with Professor Josh’s teaching, the team he has built, and the gym as a whole. The first thing I looked for was a qualified coach, and if you take one look at coach Josh’s resume you see he has lots of experience and success in many different martial arts. Everyone at the gym is very welcoming, respectful, and makes you feel like part of the family. It is a great training atmosphere for those who want hardcore jiu jitsu/grappling or striking training, children, beginners of all ages, those seeking self defense training, or even training to fight MMA. With multiple professional martial artists that come to train, talented coaches, the multitude of different classes they offer, and a great lineage of black belts you can’t go wrong!
My son is 5 and has been going here for about two months. Coach Jag and the other coaches are awesome and really train my son and the other kids there with discipline and care. Other reviews complaining about the coaches yelling or being mean probably never stayed for a whole class to understand the reasoning behind the style of training. This class teaches a discipline and my son wants to go back every day, practices at home, and has fun even though it is difficult. Furthermore, my son enjoys his coaches and their training. 100% recommended if you want a serious bjj class and not just another daycare.
I have 3 kids 2 girls and I boy who attend this school. Every since the start of their training. They have learned discipline, hard work, perseverance and we as a family have grown together as well. The teachers there are great with kids and keep they motivated. Jag the owner is fantastic! He is great with the kids, with the families as we wait and we all have become one big family. We love this place and would recommend it to anyone. You will love this place and jag as much as we do.
This school has been life changing for my two boys as well as myself.With only a few months in. Instructors are amazing to the kids. Its such a safe clean environment to have your kids training in. Teaching self discipline and control. I recommend this BJJ 100%
This is a great Bjj Academy. I train here for over 3 years and it was a blast . The head instructor professor Walter is a humble and great human being. He makes everyone feel like family. The instructing is top notch too. You will definitely improve at this gym. The kids program is great too.
Great place all 3 of my children go here and have learn respect and decipline. The staff is very knowledgeable and I'm always amazed at how much the kids have learned. They also train hard and the kids never quit attitude has become a part of our everyday life. We run 3 times a week and work out as a family now. Best choice we ever made. Thanks Jag and team!
