I trained briefly at 3 other Jiu-Jitsu academies before I found Renzo Gracie Academy in Naples Florida. This academy is hands down the BEST place to train BJJ on every level! Coach Andre and Coach Manuel are incredible instructors who balance high-level technique with a genuine investment in every student’s progress. They create an environment that is both challenging and welcoming for all levels. Zero judgment, no matter who you are or where you come from. Margarita makes the entire experience even better by demonstrating how a woman can beat any opponent regardless of their size, all by using technique. It is a family fun environment couches Bring so much knowledge and energy to the mats. They take the time to ensure everyone understands the details of every move. I consider myself extremely fortunate to have started my Jiu Jitsu journey at Renzo Gracie Naples. The high level instruction we get from our head instructor Mark Cerrone, a fourth degree black belt under Renzo Gracie, has taken me from no experience to having confidence rolling with anyone in our gym, in less than a year. I can’t recommend Renzo Gracie Naples enough to anyone looking to start or continue their Jiu Jitsu journey!
Best gym in town! I’ve never done jiu jitsu before but since my first day coach Marc has always gone out of the way to make class more enjoyable and helps me get the most out of every class. Training there has really been life changing. Mats are huge too!
Positive and motivating environment! It is said that the white belt is the hardest to get in martial arts, because it takes courage to even walk through the door the first time. I'm truly happy that I joined this gym. The coaches live the art and inspire the students to become better versions of themselves. Respect is shown to all who step on the mats, regardless of skill level. Very proud to be a part of this community and to see it grow!
Super welcoming gym! The coaches are amazing and it’s a great opportunity to learn in the lineage of Jiu Jitsu royalty. I feel very safe training here as a woman too.
