I recently had the privilege of training at Marcelo Pereira BJJ, and I can confidently say that it's an outstanding Brazilian Jiu Jitsu gym that surpasses expectations on every level. I am so grateful for the opportunity to train with Marcelo Pereira this morning. If you read nothing else read this- he is both a world class jiujitsu player and a world class human being. I had a 20 minute conversation with one of his black belts before everykne else arrived that I think has been with him for 15-20 years. He said Marcelo has the highesy ethics of anyone he has ever seen in this industry, and he has been training since 1997. Its March 2024 today. Quite a testimony. I am a 53 year old blue belt who began 3.5 years ago and was a college wrestler. I am with my wife and daughter on her soring break; I brought my gi and rashguard in case I’d have a chance to train. What incredible fortune I had to be here todag. Marcelo was warm and generous with his time, a great teacher and easy to understand. We all talked as people stretched, then taught a technique, drilled it, then rolled with each other. He taught a great knee shield
Great Professor in Marcelo Pereira. Super knowledgable about Jiu-Jitsu. Fun atmosphere, Great Team, nothing bet great things to say. I have been training with Professor Pereira, beginning when I was a white belt years ago. My daughter started training at 5 years old and loves everyday she gets to go and work with Marcello and the other instructors and Juniors. One of the best things I have ever personally invested in is my BJJ journey and training with Marcelo Pereira and his team. I wish I had started training long before I actually started, it's why my little girl started at 5 years old. Highly recommended to everyone and anyone looking to start training or continue on their personal BJJ path and journey.
We had the pleasure yesterday to train at Marcelo Pereira BJJ Naples. Our two kids have been training for almost 3 years, and we have trained at several schools. We were very impressed with the level of training. Everyone was super friendly and kind. The place was clean. They had about 4 coaches with the owner making sure all the kids were learning the moves and the class was running smooth. Both our kids loved the class, and we are definitely going back.
Our daughter trains here, and we truly couldn’t be more grateful for this gym. From day one, we were welcomed like family. The instructors are incredibly patient, kind, and genuinely invested in each child’s growth. Since starting here have seen so much growth in her skills, confidence, and discipline, which speaks volumes about the quality of instruction and the supportive environment they create. The gym is positive, respectful, and encouraging, making it an amazing place for all ages to learn and grow. We feel so lucky to be part of this community and highly recommend this gym to any family looking for an exceptional jiu-jitsu program that truly cares about its students!!
