I do the fitness kickboxing class, which feel great and has already made an impact (no pun intended!) on my cardio and strength training and also compliments my running. Great, friendly instructors and a nice, clean, large facility. They don't lock their customers into long term 1, 2 or 3 year contracts, which I've experienced with other schools. Just a simple month by month fee. I like the way in which they teach my kids various martial arts styles and they always add in a personal safety aspect to the classes, which is pretty reassuring to see. It's not all hit, kick, punch, but also elements that cover what to do if my kids feel threatened and ways in which they can stay safe. They also teach the kids how to train together and help each other. It's a nice friendly place :)
Mr Timin is amazing! His positive sincerity shines through as he works with the kids, teaching them the proper technique of Martial Arts - the kids warm up to him immediately. My son's self esteem and confidence has increased tenfold because of these classes! I was so impressed and surprised to hear how loud his, "Back Off!" could get and my son's technique has improved so much! As a parent you can easily see Mr Timin truly cares about all the kids and it shows as he asks about their day, really listening and extends the class 5 min longer just to teach an important character-building value. He keeps the classes fun and fresh, constantly mixing up the drills and adding new exercises - you won't find a better instructor or quality of person! Thank you, Mr Timin, for all that you do for these kids - you're really making a difference!
Awesome women's kickboxing classes no matter what age. The instructor (Alex) makes the class fun and he adapts the workout for each person depending on your ability. You get a combo workout of cardio work and strength training. Weather you're already in good shape or your just getting started, it's a great class. And the other women are fun! He also teaches women's self defense classes and has great classes for kids.
Mr Timin is a great instructor. Despite the multiple choices we have in Naples for Martial Arts and Taekwondo classes, and even though it's far from home, we chose Impact Martial Arts because of Mr Timin and his method of teaching self defense and at the same time making learning fun for the kids. He is great at influencing positivism and his method of teaching is unique as he not only helps the kids to build self confidence, but also help in improving focus and fitness. Greatly recommend Impact Martial Arts to anyone looking for a friendly, fun and at the same time disciplined environment to learn Martial Arts.
Mr.Timin and his team at impact is awesome!! My kids are the happiest and always motivated to do their best ! They look forward to each class ! It's hard to describe...you need to feel Mr.Timin and Mr.Lemire's energy ! Our daughters have been training at Impact Martial Arts for a couple of years now and absolutely love it. We tried many other schools before finally deciding this was the place. Mr. Timin is great with the kids and they are learning valuable skills for self defense. They always look forward to attending their class. Now my wife is even training there as well. The atmosphere is great too. I'm sure you won't be disappointed.
