I have 10+ years of experience training in the martial arts, so I was highly selective when I started looking at schools for my children. Several of my patients recommended Dragon's Den to me, and I was struck by how they were all so humble, respectful, and grounded. Both of my daughters and my wife have been training here for several years. All of the instructors do a wonderful job of promoting a healthy, family-oriented atmosphere that is mutually supportive and brings out the best in each student. When my oldest daughter first started, she was very shy and tentative. She even faked a stomach illness once to get out of a ballet practice. After training at Dragon's Den, I've seen a tremendous change in her self-confidence and how she carries herself. It's an Honor for both of my children to be training at Dragons Den MMA. It truly helps , keeps my kids focused, and motivated to protect themselves. It's fun and my kids love it! It's nice to see how the instructors are so passionate and involved with all the children. Not just at the Den, but to their School and Education. Investing themselves so much about Kajukenbo. The teachings to their students making sure they work hard. To learn every move and form of Martial Arts.. It feels like we're part of an awesome family supporting community of people. My wife and I have been attending Kajukenbo classes for over three months and I have attended at least three martial arts school before over 4 years, and I have to say Dragon's Den is the best school thus far. The facilities are always clean and well maintained. The staff are always friendly. The instructors are extremely knowledgeable and professional. The other practitioners are great, they are not afraid to hit but also practice excellent control. I have been in other schools were other practitioners would kick you in the knee almost on purpose, not at the Dragon's Den. The school really shows the Ohana spirit. Lastly, I feel the practice making me a stronger person and have stronger confidence. Great place!
Best place to train for the whole family!!! The gym is clean, everyone there is very nice. It feels like family there. The instructors and coaches know their craft well and also know how to teach people of all ages and backgrounds. They have lots of family activities that members do outside of the gym, hikes and bike rides and more.
Awesome facilities and people. Great mix of family atmosphere with people training hard while being supportive.
