My kid is learning jiu jitsu at Saiko and I can’t say enough positive things about Coach Rob and Coach Cris and the other coaches. They are friendly, engaging and caring towards the kids, while also teaching discipline and respect. My kid has improved so much in his skills and self- confidence. The facility is super clean and the equipment is well maintained. There’s also a gym at the back. I started training there with Coach Danny, so it’s a bonus to be able to work out while my kid is at class. The gym equipment is great; there’s everything you need. Danny is a great trainer who encourages you and pushes you to attain your goals. Everyone at Saiko is super knowledgeable and supportive and it’s a great family atmosphere.
I cannot speak highly enough about my experience at Saiko Fitness and Martial Arts. Incredible coaches who have truly made my journey into Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) an unforgettable one. Coach Rob, Cristiano, Chia, TJ, and Daniel are nothing short of amazing. Their dedication to teaching and passion is evident in every class. They go above and beyond to ensure that every student, regardless of their skill level, feels welcome and valued. As a beginner myself, I was pleasantly surprised by how patient and encouraging they were, which made me feel at ease from day one. One of the standout features of this BJJ school is their commitment to women's self-defense. The women's only self-defense classes held every Tuesday and Thursday evening are not only empowering but also incredibly informative because you can be applied it in real-life situations. I began my journey at Saiko Fitness and Martial Arts at the beginning of 2023, and looking bac
Saiko Studio has become a true cornerstone for our family. For two years, my daughter has flourished under the exceptional guidance of Rob, whose patience, professionalism, and expertise in jiu-jitsu are truly remarkable. Her progress has been nothing short of astounding. Rob is just an outstanding coach and super knowledgeable in what he does. Inspired by my daughter's transformation, I joined fitness classes with Danny. His deep understanding of the body has even helped me overcome chronic vertigo. Now, my husband has joined the adult martial arts, completing our family's journey here. We're deeply grateful to the owner for creating such a welcoming and supportive environment where we all feel like part of the Saiko family and are empowered to achieve our fitness goals!
Saiko Fitness and Material Arts is one of them best gyms! The spacious and clean facilities provide an ideal training environment, and the coaches, Professor Cristiano and Professor Rob, are truly exceptional. Their experience, passion, and dedication to the sport are evident in every class. It is clear that they have a genuine love for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and a desire to share their knowledge with others. One aspect that I particularly appreciate about this gym is the inclusive and safe environment they have created. BJJ is often seen as a male-dominated sport, but at this gym, I never felt out of place or unsafe. Professor Cristiano and Professor Rob prioritize the well-being and comfort of all their students, regardless of gender. They foster a culture of respect and support, making it a welcoming space for everyone.
I’ve been training at this Charles Gracie affiliated academy since September 2023 under Rob Miyashiro and Cristiano Xavier. The gym has plenty of mat space and state of the art workout equipment which you can use before or after classes. The curriculum is very practical and integrates some wrestling & judo which I really appreciate as many BJJ gyms have poor stand-up skills. Rob and Cristiano do a great job breaking down complex techniques into simple steps so that beginners can quickly learn. The culture here is amazing, everyone goes out of their way to make you feel like a part of the family. It’s fun to roll against people of all abilities and belt levels. My BJJ has gone to a whole new level since I started training here.
I have been training with Rob for nearly a decade, and he is a results driven individual who holds his clients accountable to their goals and helps you achieve them. Rob has helped me navigate through two pregnancies and adjust to how I now try to include fitness in a post kid and post pandemic world. Rob is able to meet their clients at their fitness level and help take them to where they want to go at a pace that's comfortable for them, while pushing them to explore their limit. When you work with Rob, know that you are getting more than just a personal trainer, he will be your coach, your friend, and your guide to helping you with your goals. Although I'm not a JiuJitsu student, I've seen the passion that Rob has for the practice. It's not just something he does on the side or because it mixes up his workouts, its a part of who he is. The mental and physical discipline that he applies to the sport, is the same in how he applies to hi
