Caveirnha has been such a Positive, Inspiring, and Motivational Movement within our community and my son Seth's Jiu-Jitsu training. We've been warmly Greeted and Welcomed into their Studio with their Professional and Passionate Manners from the Owner and Instructors. My son who's 10 years old was interested right away to join Caveirnha after his classmate had joined and spoke highly of their Jiu-Jitsu classes. They truly Care for all their hard working students that range from all ages with many Boys and Girls by always having many instructors to monitor Safety and Properly teach the Guidelines and the Art form of Jiu-Jitsu in a Positive Aspect! Every instructor makes sure that the parents are all involved within the Warm and Special community they've built. My son absolutely loves training at Caveirinha Jiu Jitsu Family! From the moment we walked in, the coaches made us feel welcome the environment is friendly, fun, and really supportive. You can tell they genuinely care about every child who walks through the door. One thing I really appreciate is the balance they create between fun and discipline. The classes are high-energy and keep the kids active, but there’s also a strong focus on respect, listening, and self control. It’s been great for my son’s confidence and focus. The coaches make sure every child gets equal attention, no matter their experience level, and they do a fantastic job helping each kid improve at their own pace. You can feel the positive energy in the room, and it really feels like a family. If you’re looking for a great way to help your child stay active, learn discipline, and be part of a supportive community, I totally recommend Caveirinha Jiu Jitsu Family!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ *This review is for both Adult & Kids class, coming from a parent and a first-time student* My eldest son (4.5 yo), niece (5.5 yo), and I (38F) joined RARE Jiu Jitsu summer of 2025 as complete beginner with zero experience. Professor Andrew as well as all the coaches are patient, positive, and teaches discipline. Everyone is welcoming, and you really feel the sense of community here. Prices are reasonable. As a parent, we couldn't be happier with the progress we've seen this year with our older kid and niece. If you are a parent reading this - I highly encourage you to try out adult class to learn and grow with your child! As a first time female student, while I was initially hesitant with trying out a male-dominant sport especially at my age, I am glad that I signed up and kept showing up to improve myself. Nov 2023 update: It's my pleasure to visit Caveirinha Familly again. Here are some more observations I made during my stay: 1. Professor Andrew and Coach James are very observant, they pay attention to the smallest details and helped me improve my techniques on many occasions. 2. The students in the class have a good safety awareness and are great at matching the intensity of their sparring partners to keep the class injury free. 4. The class is very organized, everyone is always doing something, and not sitting around chitchatting. This is a great environment for learning and growing. Special thanks to Coach James for helping me refine my game, "pressure and control", I will keep this in mind. July 2023 I’ve trained at more than a dozen of gyms, and I can say definitively that Caveirinha is one of the best gyms from my experience. My 8-year-old absolutely loves practicing jiu jitsu here. The environment is very family-friendly and welcoming, which makes a huge difference for kids. Coach Andrew is fantastic — he does an amazing job managing large class sizes while still making sure each student is shown proper technique and gets individual attention when needed. You can really tell he cares about the kids learning correctly and building confidence. We’re so happy to be part of this community.
Professor Andrew from 2424 Fullerton Rd, Rowland Heights, CA 91748. Is so far one of the best teachers for this sport. He has patience to deal with the kids and treats everyone like a family member. Also the team he has created to help train is on another level. ANDREW AND THE TEAM are true professional. I have been to multiple academy in the past and none of them compare with professor Andrew. Can't wait for my son and I to grow with this family. Thank Andrew and the team for everything you do!!!! Also James keep up the morning session's.
