I am in town for only a couple of nights. I asked to drop in and was graciously accepted. As a nomadic black belt with 25 years of combat sports experience, I can definitely say that this is THE place to train locally. A world class professor, with a deep understanding of the game. Furthermore the learning environment that he fosters is second to none! The facility is supremely clean and well lit. The mats are super nice and pleasant to roll on. If you have ever wanted to train, are a roller who is new in town or are un happy with your current gym give the lab a shot… you will love it!!
Best experience ever . If your a beginner or experienced you are automatically welcomed into the lab. Jerry is an awesome overall person and the best bjj athlete in the valley by far. Jerry focuses on making the environment a family experience so kids are welcome and people of all ages and their Muay Thai is the only one in the valley and it's off the chart . The lab is not just the only option for bjj Muay Thai, mma , and overall fitness it's also the best option hands down.
My son absolutely loves The Lab. We started off at 3 days a week and now he's doing 5. He's progressed so much over the past 4 months. Jerry is the best coach ever. He is so patient and gives all the kids individual attention. Makes everyone feel welcome and the kids just love it. The parents do as well. I would highly recommend The Lab for anyone interested in getting their kids into BJJ.
Coach Jerry has a ton of experience and is amazing to train under for all levels! He will build you up and ensure you challenge yourself. The other members are amazing also and will take time to go over any questions you have. A great place to train, family environment, and a great place to make friends.
An excellent gym! My 7 year old daughter loves it here! Coach Jerry is an awesome teacher who has not only fun classes, but great technique, and self-defense. I highly recommend this gym to any parents who want their kids to have fun, be challenged, and learn practical tools.
