I started training on the Legacy Martial Arts Family Fitness Center program over a year ago. I moved to California and it took me around 4-5 months to find a place that I truly love. I have been studying and training martial arts for over 10 years and I must say that this is one of the best programs in the county. Some of the things I look for in a good martial arts program is commitment, integrity, family oriented, high intensity training, respect and can also have instructors that are willing to help teach and have the patience to instruct not only adults but children. The family environment in the studio you can feel it from the moment you walk in the studio, they take you in as family. The instructors at Legacy Martial Arts are all well rounded martial artists. They work with your fundamentals so you can have a great base to keep learning more complicated things. They take your needs and goals to make you the best version of yoursel
When I did the introduction session with miss Rosales I thought I was just going to do the 2 weeks free trial but I learned so much in the short time we had and it was fun so I decided to join the Legacy family. I have learned so much and have gotten stronger in my punches and kicks. After a few weeks the owner/instructor Mr. Gregory saw how well I was doing and invited me to join the black belt club and I accepted. With all the things that have been taught to me I felt confident enough to do a tournament I wasn't sure how well I would do but I ended up getting 3 first place medals. I'm so excited that I joined the Legacy family everyone has given me encouragement to stick with it. I'm 51yrs old with a knee problem and a bit on the chunky side, my classmates are so helpful they don't see my imperfections they see my potential. I've been taking classes for just over a year and have made some new friends. We also get to learn how to use w
My family has been at Legacy for over half a year now and we couldn't be happier with the program, facility, and instructors. Legacy has allowed us to participate in an activity as a family that not only improves our health but also our bond. My daughter loves the program and has made some great friends in her class. I've enjoyed watching her blossom in class and gain a new found confidence. My family really appreciates the family classes that are available and the additional family events that they hold throughout the year. We look forward to continuing to grow in our skills and belt rank.
We truly love our Legacy family! About five months ago, I made the decision that I wanted my family to become healthier and stronger—little did I know it would completely change our lives. The staff here feel like family. They encourage us to grow, and they remind us that life is a lot like karate: in everything we face, we have a choice—our attitude, whether we give up, or whether we press forward. I am so thankful for the time and dedication the instructors put into every child and adult in each class. My endurance has grown both physically and mentally. My daughter and I attend together, and it has made us a stronger team not just in class, but at home too. If you’re looking for a place that will challenge you, inspire you, and treat you like family, come check them out—you won’t be disappointed!!
I had the opportunity to head down for a training session with Master Apprentice Gregory this past weekend and it was one of the best training sessions I have done in a while. My reasoning for this is because we were able to have a good time whilst also sweating and getting a good workout in and I was able to learn some new footwork in the physical training. For the leadership training I learned new strategies in order to make the most impact in my role. I would say it is a very safe environment to train in along with it being a very fun and diverse training space. Overall I would highly recommend training with Master Apprentice Gregory and his students! - Zander McBride
Legacy has transformed my children’s lives in ways I never imagined—and in such a short time. From the moment they stepped onto the mat, the instructors welcomed them with warmth, discipline, and genuine care. In a short time, I’ve seen incredible growth—not just in their physical abilities, but in their confidence, respect, and focus. They now carry themselves with pride, speak with courtesy, and tackle challenges with determination. Legacy doesn’t just teach martial arts—it builds character. The values of integrity, perseverance, and community are woven into every class. My kids come home excited, motivated, and proud of what they’re learning. Thank you to all those at Legacy for making such an impact on our family. If you’re looking for a place that nurtures your child’s potential and helps them thrive, this is it.
