All around positive, friendly environment. First year started for mental and physical health. Two years in, entire family is training. The instructors in the kids classes are amazing and Work great with the kids. Instructors for the adult classes love what they do and it shows. Makes the classes fun and workouts more enjoyable.
My family loves this gym! The professors are some of the best around and the members are are wonderful. Really feels like family. They offer gi and no gi jiu jitsu classes for children, teens, women, beginner, intermediate and advanced. They also have a kickboxing/striking class as well as classes in the morning for homeschool students. My husband and boys have been students at this gym for 4+ years!
Absolutely love this Jiu Jitsu academy! The coaches are incredible — knowledgeable, patient, and always pushing you to get better. The gym itself is spotless, spacious, and has a great atmosphere from the moment you walk in. The 6a.m. crew is hands-down the best group to train with — full of energy, good vibes, and real dedication. Couldn’t ask for a better place to train and grow on and off the mats! Stache Gordon
We’ve been bringing our daughters here to train for almost two years, and we absolutely love the family-focused environment. Jujitsu has truly helped them build focus and a determination to improve for themselves. Every coach knows each child by name, and it truly shows how much they care. Thanks to Coach London and Coach Carsen for their dedication to helping every child develop discipline and self-confidence.
I’ve been training here for about 3 years now and the coaches and environment here have completely changed my life for the better. I went from hating Jiu Jitsu and not wanting to go once a week, to going multiple times a week and helping coach the kids classes. I can’t recommend trying out Ares Peoria enough.
Ares Peoria is fantastic. The professors are professional, highly skilled, and friendly. I learn something new and am challenged every class. It is also a very family friendly gym with women’s only classes and children’s classes. I am so thankful to have found this place.
