My 5 year old daughter has been training at Cove Jiu Jitsu for about two months, and it’s been a great experience. She was a little hesitant at first, but now she looks forward to every class. The smaller class sizes for her age group are perfect, and the coaches are patient, encouraging, and really know how to work with young kids. Her confidence and hand-eye coordination have improved a lot in a short time.

My niece also trains at Cove in the older kids group and loves it too. Both of them are learning real jiu-jitsu skills, staying active, and having fun. Highly recommend Cove Jiu Jitsu for kids of all ages. It’s a supportive and well-run gym.
As a black belt, I’ve visited many Jiu Jitsu schools in my journey, but Cove Jiu Jitsu truly stands out. The facility is huge, with plenty of mat space, and they offer a variety of programs for kids for all levels of experience. But what really sets Cove apart, though, is the sense of family, smiles and community. It’s not a place full of egos or people trying to prove themselves—it’s a place that feels like home. You feel safe to make mistakes, learn, and grow both in your skills and as part of a community. With one of the top young black belts in the country teaching here, you know you’re in great hands. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!
Cove Jiu Jitsu is a fantastic BJJ academy with a great community of training partners, encouraging coaches, and patient, solid instruction. The gym is more than a training facility; it is a family of friends and partners helping each other through life and on the warrior's path. Cove is a friendly and supportive place for both experienced practitioners/competitors as well as those trying BJJ for the first time. I highly recommend it!
Cove Jiu Jitsu is amazing! It is a family friendly environment that has a variety of levels based on age and skill. Some nights you wear a gi and other nights you don’t. There are highly skilled coaches that are awesome. For my 6 year old daughter, it’s very convenient that you purchase a punchcard for classes and can go when it works within your schedule. I love it that they even have a monthly newsletter and Ohana family night!
This is the best place to train! As a paramedic, I’ve used the skills I’ve developed here more then once to keep both myself and my partners safe from aggressive patients. Coaches are amazing and very knowledgeable about technique and how moves can be modified to work with your body. The students are all very friendly, respectful, and most importantly safe. Lots of individualized attention to really help make sure you understand what you’re doing well and what needs improvement. By far the best gym I’ve ever trained at!
