Calf Slicer

Also known as: Calf Crusher · Calf Crush · Leg Slicer · Hiza Hishigi

From the truck, your shin becomes a blade behind their knee: fold their calf onto it and the compression forces the tap — often available the moment they try to free their trucked leg.

Submission · Compression Lock · Gi & No-gi · Difficulty 3/5 · Usually learned at Blue belt

Starts from The Truck as the truck driver → ends the match (submission).

The details that make it work

  1. Your shin or forearm wedges deep in the crook of their knee; their heel folds toward their butt.
  2. Pull the ankle down while your wedge stays high behind the knee — the fold does the damage.
  3. It appears mid-escape: when they kick to free the truck leg, the slicer is already half-on.
