Push + Pull Jiu Jitsu reviews

Rated 5.0/5 across 5 Google reviews.

I've trained at Push + Pull for several months now - it deserves every bit of praise it's gotten and more. The gym's atmosphere is one of calm, focus, and minimal distraction. It's also kept very clean. Ethan and Steph have done an incredible job cultivating a culture that prioritizes safety, sportsmanship, and mutual respect between trainees of all skill levels. Kids classes are loaded with games to keep them engaging and genuinely fun. Ethan is a world class practitioner and a very considerate instructor with nearly two decades of experience to share. Push + Pull is the real deal with green flags all around. I highly recommend checking it out!
I rolled at a community open-mat this week. I am going back tonight as I enjoyed myself and the other who were there. Ethan is well trained and controls the roll well. It doesn’t take long to recognize his 18 years of practice. I was uncomfortable to show up to a free open mat and my wife sent me out the door. He and Stephanie I believe were welcoming and it felt like home immediately. I will continue showing up to open mats.
Excellent coaching and facility Ethan and Steph are both extremely knowledgeable and back that up with a patient approach to educating. Very clean and well maintained environment, separate changing rooms, workout and warm up mat area, and lounge area for parents/students. Ethan is an extremely talented athlete and I'm really glad the Spokane area gets to benefit from his experience. This is a new school and class sizes aren't huge yet which is even more reason to come as you'll be getting a lot of one on one time with lots of time to work specific challenges you're having.
Wanted to get my 9yr old son started in jujutsu, and push&pull was the only gym I found that worked with our schedule. After the first free session my son said he LOVED it! He's def not a sportsy kid, and I've never seen him react so positively to a sport. It's pretty awesome to see your kid light up. Now we're both signed up and so glad we did. Coach Ethan and Stephanie work great with kids and adults alike!
This is a new gym - very clean, with a great atmosphere and a dedicated workout area. The coach is extremely knowledgeable, and I highly recommend training with him. I’m a brown belt competitor, and every class at this gym I learn a lot of details that directly improve my game.
Highly recommend this gym to anyone in the area looking to learn / train Jiu Jitsu. Top tier instruction, great space and environment, everyone there was very welcoming and kind
