Triton Fight Center reviews

My daughters (10/12) and I have been training at Triton Fight Center for about a year and half, and we couldn’t be happier training here. We regularly attend both Judo and Jiu Jitsu classes, and occasionally jump into the Muay Thai sessions as well. There are so many things we love about Triton: * The facility is always clean and well-maintained. * The space is large, giving everyone plenty of room to train comfortably. * The community is incredible no matter what class you're in, you feel welcome and supported. * Professor Piet is amazing. His knowledge of Jiu Jitsu seems endless, but what really stands out is how much he cares about his students not just on the mat, but in life. His words at the end of class often stick with us long after we leave. * The kids program is fantastic. It’s well-coached, inclusive of all skill levels, and really helps the kids grow in confidence and ability. * Best of all, there are no egos here. It's a sa
I’ll be honest, I only write reviews for businesses that have bad service. But Triton, is an awesome place to come for Brazilian Jiujitsu. I just came from another state for work and needed the mat time. But I got a little more than what I bargained for. Before the adult class I watched the kids/teens class. Not only were they well trained with a solid foundation of Jiujitsu, but they were respectful, well behaved and disciplined children. I can see the influence from the leadership of Head coach/Professor Piet Wilhelm, the structure in the place is off the charts. If you thought about putting your child in BJJ bring them here, you’ll be glad you did! For my class, the atmosphere awesome, everyone was friendly and they gave me great rolls! The instruction was very detailed and very practical for any level (beginner to advanced). Going into different gyms isn’t easy, you never know how it will go. Sometimes you can be treated like an out
Such a great gym for so many reasons. I'm the father of 2 boys age 10-7 who do Jiu-Jitsu. . I have seen a lot of people instruct them over the years and we have moved a couple times since they have started Jiu-Jitsu so I have been to many gyms to find the rights ones for them every place we have lived. Piet was kind enough to take my boys in and let them do Jiu-Jitsu there before he flew with his students that were competing in IBJJF Orlando the coming weekend. Everything about this place was impressive from the respect you could tell the students have for each other and dedication from Piet and his teachers to the students. The way they start each kids class and what they are teaching here to students are exactly the values you want to instill in any human young or old. The focus on safety as a parent makes it great for mom and i and the focus on technics for my kids who love to compete is the edge that explains why Triton does great i
I train in and am from Oklahoma City but travel to Tulsa most weeks. I am so glad I stopped into Triton! Piet Wilhelm has been extremely welcoming, as well as the other students and instructors. The facility is very clean, and there are showers which is very convenient since I have a decent drive after class. I appreciate that there are so many class times on the schedule, so if I have some free time there is usually a class going at Triton. I love the sequences and drills I have learned at the classes. The moves I have learned are easy to understand and very useful to my game. Triton is a very impressive facility with great instruction, and I love train there whenever I have the chance!
My family is incredibly grateful for Triton Fight Center. Our son has trained at some other gyms and we are thankful that those gyms eventually led us to Triton. Our son has improved tremendously in the almost 6 months that we have been training at Triton. Piet is a great instructor and he is making a big impact on these kids. He teaches them respect, how to work hard to impove your skills, and how to be a good training partner. He pushes the kids and my son has benefited from it. Most of all, you can tell how deeply Piet cares about the kids - my son adores Piet! The caliber of kids that attend this gym is also impressive, as we all know that iron sharpens iron. Can't say enough good things about this place, we have found our gym home at Triton!
My son has been attending Triton Fight Center for a year and a half and the progression in his training is noticeable. He has built life long relationships with some of the kids as well as the adults. All the instructors from Judo to Jujitsu are professional, kind, respectful and continue to be mentors to him. Piet and his wife are accommodating and always friendly to my wife and I and always notify us of changes or issues with our son. The adults and instructors treat my son as their own and I am thankful for that. I have never seen any student or instructor act in a manner that was not professional and human! They are structured and hold themselves to a high standard! If you have thin skin or take things personal then fight sports are probably not for you!!
