Valor Martial Arts reviews

I trained in Tang Soo Do and Arnis earlier in my life, but then stopped for 15 years. When I found Valor Martial Arts I reached out to JD and then came to watch a class. I instantly felt welcome and found a committed, friendly community that I wanted to train with, and a teacher in JD who was exactly the kind of person I wanted to train under. He is patient. He is skilled. He is easy to learn from and a pleasure to just be around. He is good at training people of all ages, from young children to adults. I am 54, so age isn't an issue in training here. My favorite days of the week now are training days! Highly recommend.
My entire family enjoys training at Valor Martial Arts. I highly encourage you to give it a try if you’ve been interested in learning Martial Arts! Please don’t think you’re too old, too late, etc. ANYONE can start their training and reach their goals if they just keep trying! I myself have zero background but decided to try it and have loved stretching myself to learn (I still have a ways to go!) and grow. Everything gets explained thoroughly, the instructors want to see you succeed and your teammates are so encouraging as well!
Valor Martial Arts has been a huge blessing to our family. The instructors genuinely care about the kids and create a safe, positive environment that builds confidence, discipline, and respect. We especially love the strong Christian atmosphere and values that align with what we teach at home. An amazing place for families and kids—we highly recommend Valor Martial Arts!
My daughter and I both train at this martial arts school and highly recommend it! The instructors are patient, professional, and great with both kids and adults. It’s a positive, supportive environment, and training together has been a wonderful experience for our family.
Valor Martial Arts truly lives up to its mission of creating an encouraging, family-like environment. The focus on both self-defense skills and confidence-building really sets this place apart. JD Lewis is incredibly kind, treats every student with respect, and is extremely knowledgeable in his skill set. You can tell he genuinely cares about his students’ growth, both on and off the mat. I would recommend Valor Martial Arts to anyone looking for quality instruction in a positive atmosphere.
I strongly recommend Valor Martial Arts to anyone and everyone looking to strengthen themselves physically, mentally and spiritually. Amazing directors with the most amazing patience and kind demeanors. They offer something for the entire family!!! You feel like and are treated like family and I absolutely love that! Our family loves Valor Martial Arts and all the tools we have learned to improve ourselves!
