I’ve been taking my daughter to classes for a while, and I’d always wanted to try it myself. Finally, I made the decision to jump in this January, and without a doubt, it’s been the best decision I’ve ever made. It’s done wonders for my physical and mental health, and the impact has been more than I could have expected. Great environment for beginners and experienced jiu jitsu practitioners. Very welcoming and friendly coaches and training partners. Extremely family oriented with a great kids program that I fully intended to enroll my little one in once he is old enough. I was really nervous the first time walking in for the trial class, but that quickly went away with how welcoming and friendly everyone was. You can really feel the strong sense of community from everyone there and the environment that they have created. Coaches Pedro, Eric, and Sarah are great and truly professional. They make sure you learn the skills and details you need in order to be successful and safe while training. They truly aspire to inspire!
Review update 6months later…. Still the best decision we have made as a family choosing this Academy over others. Coach Sarah, Coach Eric and professor Pedro are kind and caring and always so welcoming. My youngest has enrolled also and loves as as much as big sister. We are at the point where it feels like our family practically live here 😂 If you are looking for a family friendly environment this is the place to be. My husband and I were looking for the perfect place for our daughter and we found it. Coach Sarah and coach Eric are amazing with kids. It takes a lot to work with different age groups teaching them techniques at their level. I can honestly say they handle it like the pros they are. They engage with the kiddos and give them one on one training while making it fun. My son and daughter, who are 8 and 6 years old, have been training here for one year now, and we’ve seen incredible growth in both their skills and their love for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Coaches Eric and Sarah are fantastic with kids — they’re patient, encouraging, and make the classes fun, safe, and educational. The techniques they teach are top-notch, and the way they break down the moves makes it easy for children to understand and apply them. The facility itself is always clean, well-maintained, and very welcoming, creating a comfortable environment for both kids and parents. These coaches are amazing! They're incredibly caring and patient. They make sure to strengthen the team environment and mentality. They understand the various levels each student brings to class, and they match students accordingly during the instruction of new techniques. They cultivate an atmosphere of learning, fun, and positivity. The facilities are great! Adequate amount of padding is present, and the mats are always clean. This school also includes more traditional aspects, specifically respect for the coaches, fellow teammates, and the mat itself. This place is EXACTLY what we were looking for!
