I signed up for White Dragon Martial Arts in August. I've been consistently going since and it has been a phenomenal experience! I came in with zero background experience in martial arts. I really appreciate the patience that my instructor shows every single lesson. During one of my first lessons he reassured me that whatever I don't learn today, I will learn tomorrow because it's all about repetition and building on the fundamentals. It was great to hear this reassurance! The group classes challenge you in a good way. The instructors will constantly remind you to invoke the "martial spirit"! The group classes build on the fundamentals that you will learn in during your private lessons. As you keep rising in ranks, different types of classes are offered such as sparring and weapon training. I would highly recommend this school to anyone (regardless of age) who is looking to learn self-defense and/or wants to work out in a non-judgmental
I was looking for something for my son to participate in, meet new ppl, learn some structure and self discipline. This was an awesome choice!!! My son LOVES his classes and his instructors. He is meeting new kids his age while learning how to defend himself. The instructors are amazing!!! They really focus on training and techniques. They offer classes everyday except Sundays and even do one on ones once a week to make sure each kid gets help on what they need. This is truly an great atmosphere, it's clean, and we are now LIFERS!!!!
This school has changed my life, in a positive way. I was looking for a way to overcome my depression and decided to try with martial arts. In 2 years, I see an enormous improvement in the way I deal with my mental issues. I'm just so in love with the community at White Dragon, where I met amazing instructors, they are so patient, supportive and I really appreciate the effort every single teacher and staff are giving students. I am also grateful to meet like-minded people at all ages, and become friends, they are so nice and make me feel like family. I have my favorite instructors, who are extremely energetic, enthusiastic, always encourage us to push ourselves beyond our limits. We are not only learning forms and self-defense techniques, but also how to improve physical and mental health. I definitely would recommend this place to anyone who is considering trying martial art for their work-out routine. Totally worth it!
My friend and I wanted to take up tai chi so we found that white dragon does a couple free lessons to try and we loved their teaching. Francisco is patient and insightful with us as beginners. All of the other instructors are enthusiastic and extremely helpful; not to mention friendly. We enjoy one private lesson per week and try to make it to every available group class. Our technique has improved and we feel confident about advancing thanks to the dedicated staff. If you get the chance and the “spare change” to try out a new hobby, let it be at White Dragon Martial Art.
White Dragon is truly a family. Our children have been training here for quite sometime now and it’s the most encouraging and motivational martial arts studio we’ve ever been to. All of the teacher’s are fabulous and super friendly and the prices are fair for the amount of classes you can take a week plus the private lessons. We are so appreciative of the support we have received with our children from all of the teachers and the student interaction is amazing. Everyone is friends and encouraging to each other. We can’t recommend this place more.
White Dragon Martial Arts is incredible! My 8 year old daughter and 6 year old son enrolled this summer and I have seen their confidence increase! The quality of the instruction and the instructors are fabulous- they are energetic, encouraging, detailed and they inspire enthusiasm and respect from the children. The class schedules are geared to accommodate working parents. The unlimited classes PLUS one-on-one instruction make White Dragon Martial Arts the absolute best value that I have found. I highly recommend!!
