A spider-guard variation where one leg threads outside and around the opponent’s arm, shin behind their armpit, with a matching sleeve grip. The lasso is one of the hardest guards in the gi to pass because the trapped arm can neither post nor pass — and it converts directly to omoplatas and sweeps.
